Machinist - Benzonia, MI location
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated Machinist to join our team at our Benzonia facility. The Machinist will be a skilled and responsible individual with experience operating lathes, mills and grinders as well as the capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production. The Machinist must also be familiar with CNC operation, able to identify and rectify equipment issues and take initiative in improving workplace efficiency. Minimum of one year experience required. This is a full-time position.
Essential Functions
- Use long-handled tools called jigs, squares, and dividers to layout workpieces that are held in jigs.
- Use various saws, drills and measuring devices to configure workpieces.
- Perform precision machine set-up and tooling adjustments.
- Build products to engineering specifications.
- Align workpieces into fixtures.
- Use various hand tools to modify or finish parts.
