This tree planter was designed for ease of planting all types of fruit trees. The planter will increase your time efficiency plus decrease your labor costs. Overall – a reduction in planting cost with 300 to 500 trees planted per hour resulting in more trees planted, less labor used and less time spent.
We have designed the planter for ease of pulling and maneuverability in heavy soil with less horsepower required. Some of the mechanical features include: easy hookup to tractor, tree shroud pivots on subsoiler, the removal of one pin allows the subsoiler to be unhooked from the tree shroud (this allows subsoiler to be used alone as a subsoiler or to mark rows), constructed of heavy gauge material for long life, self adjusting discs, large tree bins, and padded operator’s seat.
The self-adjusting discs return soil around planted tree to assure a good seal. The advantage of the large tree bins is less time spent restocking trees to machine. The pivoting of the tree shroud allows easier pulling, contour tree planting, and more maneuverability
